Understanding The Diode


 
             A diode is an electrical device that allows current to move through
it in one direction, with ease, while restricting the reversed flow. The most
common kind of diode in modern circuit design is the semiconductor diode, although other diode technologies exist.Diode behavior resembles the function performed by the common  hydraulic device known as  a check valve. A check valve allows fluid to flow through it in only one direction.
