The Coursera Course Overview:Neural Networks

Attn: Seekers of occupational, academic,or technology related training. The coursera experience is well worth the time, if you seek knowledge. I included an overview that each student can peruse before committing. There are no fees and you can work on these whenever you want if you'll download the lectures. A link is marked with an icon that only needs be clicked upon.I enjoy the model delivered by Coursera over some others due to the simple and clean design. 1. Open g mail account. 2. Google: " Coursera" and click on their home link  create free account (2 minutes) 3.Browse Courses Welcome to the course on Neural Networks for Machine Learning The videos Each week, the course will have two lectures. Each lecture will be divided into about five short videos. Both lectures will become available on Monday (at 12.01 am Eastern Standard Time). There are quiz questions embedded in the videos to help you check that you are understanding the material. These quizz...

Neural Networks : Lecture 1-Coursera-Toronto University

Neural networks are primary modeled from  human brain messaging and learning methods.Though much simpler, machines make neural nets through connections caused by electrical charges, instead of using the blood flow our brain excites to create energy. These are much simpler than real neurons, but they're still complicated enough, to allow us to make neural nets, that do some very interesting kinds of machine learning .In order to understand anything complicated, we have to idealize it.That is, we have to make simplifications that allow us to get a handle on how it might work. With atoms, for example, we simplify themas behaving like little solar systems. Understanding  how the brain functions sustains the analogy. Prior knowledge of surgery is NOT required.
